5. Selling or Sharing Personal Information (CPRA)
Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and similar laws in other states, “selling” personal information includes sharing it for monetary consideration, and “sharing” includes disclosing it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.
NautiCovers does not sell your Personal Information for money.
However, information shared with Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel), Google Analytics, and Google Ads is considered “sharing” under these laws because it may be used for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Utah, and residents of other states with similar privacy laws can opt out of this “sale” or “sharing” at any time by:
• Clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the site footer, or by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser.
We automatically honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out request. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

We retain Personal Information only as long as reasonably necessary. Listed below are expected retention periods. These are approximate and subject to change.
• Order, payment, and account data: 7 years (tax and accounting requirements)
• Customer service records: 3 years
• Marketing subscribers: until you unsubscribe or 24 months of inactivity
• Analytics data: follows each provider’s settings (e.g., Google Analytics default 26 months)
You may request deletion earlier, subject to legal obligations.
